It’s an examination. Not everyone will pass. The expectation seems to be that you should pass if you’ve paid your money.

This caucus race approach sets junior lawyers up for disappointment in practice. You don’t get promoted just by showing up like you’re owed it.

I really feel sorry for these SQE candidates.
